The long way round: elieatscrayons at the Oceania World Warrior final

On Sunday 18 October the Capcom Pro Tour 2026 World Warrior: Oceania Regional Final was played online. Eight players qualified, and the winner earned the region's one place at Capcom Cup 13. The eligible countries and regions were Australia, New Caledonia and New Zealand.

Elieatscrayons, playing Dhalsim, lost a winners semi-final to Kanga|Kinaji 3–1 and dropped to the losers side, then beat Dano 3–1, CdAkai 3–1 and Travis Styles 3–0 to reach grand finals. Kanga|Kinaji, on Juri, won the first set 3–1 and took the event and the Capcom Cup spot. Elieatscrayons finished second and Travis Styles third.

The final capped a busy year. Liquipedia lists elieatscrayons as the winner of World Warrior: Oceania #2 on 21 June, with a 3–0 grand final over Travis Styles. start.gg lists elieatscrayons first at Drive Theory 29 in Melbourne on 6 June, and SF6 Freak's bracket record shows a second place to Travis Styles at World Warrior: Oceania #4 on 30 August.

In 2025, elieatscrayons won the Street Fighter 6 bracket at OzHadou Nationals 19 in Bankstown, New South Wales, ahead of Koopa and Rumours.

If you only watch one set from Sunday, make it the losers final against Travis Styles. It's the kind of 3–0 that says a lot about a long day.
