WoW Forever arrives on a Thursday morning in Brisbane
Blizzard's new take on original Azeroth goes live globally on 4 November, Pacific time. Here's what that means on this side of the water.
Blizzard says World of Warcraft: Forever launches globally on 4 November 2026 at 3:00 pm PST. In Brisbane that's 9:00 am on Thursday 5 November. In Sydney and Melbourne, where daylight saving is on, it's 10:00 am.
Blizzard's announcement describes a return to the original continents with a level cap of 60. It's set after Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core. Access comes with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time, and the beta began on 17 September.
For Oceanic players, the question that matters is where the servers are. At Blizzard's 17 September developer Q&A, as reported by WoW Forever Guides, the developers said Forever will have no realms but will still have regions. They said Oceanic players will mostly be hosted on Australian data centres and will share a ruleset-wide auction house with players in the US. Grouping with friends far away may connect you to their data centre, so ping can vary.
One small note: one line of Blizzard's announcement gives the time as PDT and another as PST. US daylight saving ends on 1 November, so 4 November is on PST, and the times above use PST.
